Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Finance Directorate is looking to appoint 2 Senior Finance Officers, one permanent post and one post for a fixed period of 18 months, within the Faculty of Humanities.

The Senior Finance Officer is a member of the Faculty Finance team. You will work with colleagues within the Faculty Finance team to provide comprehensive financial support and advice to members of the schools you support including the School Management Teams and Budget Holders.

You will assist with the School’s annual reporting cycle, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for particular Schools within the Faculty.

You will be customer focused, flexible in your approach, and work in conjunction with other finance colleagues in order to develop and enhance your role and the service delivered by the Directorate of Finance.
