Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated MLA to join our Histopathology team within the Pathology Department at King's Mill Hospital.
The post is fixed-term for a period of 12 months
This post will be both challenging and rewarding, and is fundamental to the delivery of an efficient Pathology service that supports the hospital and primary care.
The Histopathology department provides a wide range of tissue analyses to aid diagnosis that facilitates the appropriate outcome for patients attending the Trust, General Practice or private clinics. This includes the diagnostic phase of cancer screening programmes
The overriding purpose is to support the department in the delivery of sample analysis, whilst supporting the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.Experience of the NHS and pathology environment is desirable.
