Role Overview & Responsibilities

Defining and fulfilling the very best standards in fresh produce supply is what we’re all about.We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our packaging team. Our new colleague needs to be efficient and organised in the preparation and movement of packaging within the warehouse and the loading and unloading of deliveries.

Key skills

As a Packaging Store Operative, you will be relied on to ensure a high degree of organisation is installed and the issuing of packaging is always maintained. You will have experience in a similar role and have great attention to detail.

We are ideally looking for people with the ability to:

•Monitor stocks in packaging and other designated areas, ensuring stock rotation.

•Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy and that all HACCP and Health and Safety requirements are followed.

•Undertake regular stock checks on packaging for both purchased and consignment stocks.

•Load / unload delivery vehicles using handling equipment where appropriate.

•Book in deliveries and check product received against purchase order quantity and quality.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who can respond quickly to changes in demand, who is reliable, confident and self motivated.

The hours you would work:

80 hour per two-week contract based on 5 out of 7 days (including weekends). You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
