Carpenter Apprentice

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Michael Brady, a construction company based in Pinner are seeking for an enthusiastic carpentry apprentice to assist skilled technicians conducting maintenance work. The chosen candidate will also be undertaking a Level 2 Standard in Carpentry and Joinery. Due to section 106, the chosen candidate has to be from the borough of Hounslow.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to complete an apprenticeship which will include vocational training, study and work and will eventually lead to a qualification as a skilled craftsperson.

The chosen candidate's duties include (but are not limited to):

• Install door and window frames
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers

Training to be delivered:

• Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship Standard
• Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and/or English if required

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hounslow, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
