Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for Baristas/front of house/ staff to join our team at Merchant of Venice .

Roles & Responsibilities may include:

· Good customer service, greet guests and provide front of counter delivery of food and drink. Preparation of hot drinks.

· Keeping the counter and storage areas clear, well-organised and easy to use.

·Operation of chip and pin machines and an EPOS till including the handling of cash payments.

· Keeping the whole site clear and tidy with tables routinely cleared and cleaned in accordance with operational procedures.

· Raising any maintenance or significant cleaning issues to the Management team.

· Ensuring that a personal full understanding is maintained about menus, offers and other operational information.

· Assisting in the delivery of events as directed by the Management team.

· Promoting and practising relevant health and safety, food hygiene and fire safety standards.

· Assisting the Manager team in the maintaining effective stock control, storage and rotation to minimise wastage.

· Compliance with all organisational policies and procedures.

· Assisting the Management team in the controlling and managing of enquiries, complaints and emergencies including administering First Aid (when trained) as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £7.31-£10.05 per hour
