Front End Web Developer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday based in our Middlesbrough office. We are not considering remote working at this time. The ideal candidate has strong front-end experience and at least some back-end coding experience, as well as experience working within SaaS.

LeadByte is a well-established software business and an industry trailblazer, operating in the Lead Generation Market serving clients globally.

The following experience is essential, and candidates will not be considered without being able to demonstrate strong experience.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML
• Familiarity with Vue.js or React.js
• Consideration of accessible content requirements
• Knowledge of atomic design concepts
• Experience with component-based development
• Proficient in responsive design and mobile optimisation
• Version control using Git
• Debugging and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging tools specific to Vue.js or React.js, such as Jest, Enzyme, or Vue Test Utils
• Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and performance optimisation strategies
