Art Shop Assistant - Part Time Freelance Role

JE Gallery is a small online gallery specialising in Chinese art & design. We are recruiting a smart and highly-motivated part time Store Assistant to join us immediately. The successful applicant will be required to work between 2-3 days per week and will be based in our office in central Croydon.

Responsibilities

Assisting with all day-to-day operations of the business including:

• Packing and posting customer orders
• Assisting in preparing stock, labelling, quality control
• Providing first class customer services
• Assisting with the photo shooting and picture editing
• Assisting with posters design and writing press releases
• Assisting with the online marketing, search engine optimisation, keyword planner, maintaining website, blog and social media

Competencies

• Efficient, diligent and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good computer skill, familiar with adobe creative suite
• Friendly & helpful, always put the customer first
• Passion for Chinese & Japanese art & design
• Able to work independently & remotely
• Speak English fluently

* The daily rate is £83 (for 7.5 working hours)

Salary: £83.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

COVID-19 considerations:
All our current events & exhibitions are postponed due to covid 19, we are mainly focus on digital marketing and online sales at the moment until further notice.

Experience:

• Retail/Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
• Graphic Design: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Cover Letter (required)
