Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position: Full-time positions available for Sales Assistant

Arabian Oud is an exciting place to work as we become the leading luxury brand specialising in fragrances with a globally recognised presence. Well-known for our niche market, we have an ever-growing presence within the UK and therefore demand for our products.

We are seeking highly successful, experienced retail consultants to expand our current team of fragrance specialists. This is a fantastic experience for a confident and enthusiastic sales assistant.

You will play a key role in delivering an excellent, unforgettable experience. The ideal candidate will have an engaging enthusiasm for fragrance and a clear passion for customer service.

Locations: Oxford Street / Westfield Stratford / Westfield White City

(staff are required to work in all three branches)

Remuneration:

£9.50 per hour + competitive commissions

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in sales – preferably in fragrance or cosmetics
• Proven track record of sales achievements in previous role(s)
• Highly presentable: attire, behaviour and interaction with customers
• Strong professional values
• Excellent communication skills

Main tasks of the job:

The main responsibility of a Fragrance Consultant will be: promoting brand awareness and consultatively selling our products.

In addition to this, we expect:

• Striving to achieve and exceed personal sales target
• Maintaining a clean environment on the shop floor at all times
• Assisting customers with a consultative sell to tailor their experience in picking appropriate fragrances and product
• Adhering to all store policies and procedures
• Building relationships with customers to increase repeated business
• Maintaining stock levels on the shop floor
• Being diligent with the company’s policy on discounts, refunds etc.
• Staff will be required on occasion to cover shortage of staff.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Sunday
• Work in Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City and Oxford Street

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
• Birthday gift

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (minimum)
• customer service: 1 year (minimum)
