We are looking for someone to help with day to day care of the pets that stay with us.
Daily duties include:
- Walking dogs
- Cleaning kennels, cat pens, bowls, storage areas and general tidying
- Feeding
- Enrichment sessions
- Occasional bathing
- Scooping kennels and cat pens, as well as exercise areas
- Greeting clients and their pets
- Taking photos and videos for social media
- Giving medication
- Checking vaccination certificates
- General upkeep
The right candidate will
- Have experience working with animals
- Work to a high standard
- Be able to work as part of a team and alone
- Be able to follow instructions
- Enjoy working outside
- Be willing to learn
- Be punctual and reliable
Working hours: Friday to Monday - 08:00-16:30
Pay will be minimum wage based on age.
This is a temporary role with the potential for an extended contract depending on the amount of animals in our care.
