The role:
We are looking for a Research Associate on a fixed-term basis until summer 2026 to support the commodities team. This role will involve the following:
· Supporting analysts with data collection, market research and report writing
· Support the editorial team with report uploads, fact-checking and making sure all publications meet the proper standards
· Primary research - make phone calls to gather market insights
About you:
You will have the following:
- Demonstratable experience in research and qualitative and quantitative analysis of data
- Writing skills of a high standard
- Experience working with data and Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and the ability to learn new applications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise, and coherent manner
- Strong organisational and administration skills with the ability to work in a pressured environment and deliver work to set deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, both within Mintec and in client-facing situations
- Be a self-starter and be driven to achieve the best results
