Role Overview

Job Title: Refuge Worker South Asian Specialist (Can speak either: Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Sylheti languages)

Location: Derby City

Salary: Β£25,104 per annum including London Weighting

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

We are recruiting for excellent individuals who are passionate about supporting women and children who have been affected by domestic violence, as a Refuge Worker you will be responsible for providing high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and their children living in our refuges.

We Require South Asian Specialist (Can speak either: Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Sylheti languages)

Responsibilities

The main purpose of the role is to support victims of domestic violence and their children by collaborating with them to provide safe accommodation, ensuring that they have access to all options and services while also ensuing that they understand their rights.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
