To provide an informative and efficient first point of contact either by phone or face to face which ascertains the patient/visitor and staff requirements and then signposting/wayfinding them to the mostappropriate individual, team or department Supervision of volunteers and direction of the porter provision ensuring an efficient service is provided at all times. The post holder will work closely and liaise with other services and directorates to ensure maximum effectiveness, quality and patient experience. They will ensure that they are sensitive to patient'sneeds and ethnic requirements.
