General Machinist
Location: South Devon
Job Description:
General Machinist (Engineering) reporting to the Machine Shop Manager.
Main Duties:
- Manufacturing of machined components on manual Lathes and Milling machines according to engineering drawings.
- Use of measuring equipment.
- To assist in other areas as required.
Candidate Skills and Requirements:
- Previous experience in machining/manufacturing an advantage but not essential for the right applicant.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail whilst displaying a can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and work well as part of a team.
Location/Hours: South Devon. Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm
