We are looking for an Imports Administrator to assist our Imports team in managing the invoice process accordingly to validate all invoices against our internally approved standards, ensuring that Matalan pay the correct amount for the services required.
As our Imports Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Processing invoices and credit notes in line with approved rate cards and payment guards, ensuring they are approved in a timely manner
- Coding all charges to the correct and relevant nominals
- Raising queries and/or disputes with 3P and service providers, pursuing credits as appropriate
- Maintaining the control sheet of all invoices both historical and under query
- Creating and maintaining weekly summary for management on number of invoices
- Assisting the imports team when required to ensure imports activities are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner
- Supporting the imports team when required to ensure imports activities are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner. Providing support and cover to relevant areas during peak periods and holidays
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally
- Previous experience within an admin role and preferably within invoicing
- IT literate with experience of Microsoft Office
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationship
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
