Finance Assistant role working within the Banking sector in London
Challenger Bank providing a range of FinTech services and rapidly expanding. Exciting stage to join the business. Based in the City area of London.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your role will be broad and include responsibility for:

Accounts payable and Accounts receivable postings into the General Ledger system
- Assisting with the Management Accounts production
- Assisting with the Financial Analysis and Board pack production
- Working on intragroup transactions
- Cashflow management
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Staff expense processing
- Liasing with financial reporting team at Head Office in Europe
- Other adhoc finance related work as required

Graduate with excellent academic profile (2.1 or 1st class degree in eg Finance, Accounting, Economics or Maths)
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High levels of integrity, discretion and the ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information.
- FinTech, payments or challenger bank experience advantageous but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ambitious self-starter who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial and results-driven environment with a flat organisational structure
