SGS require a experienced Sub Ducting Teams to work on a new Telecom Infrastructure build in Birmingham and Wolverhampton West Midlands.
The Cabling Teams will deliver a quality fibre network on time, in line with the scheduled programme and in a safe and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Β· Installation of subduct and blown fibre tubing into UG network.
Β· Installation of blown and hand pulled fibre optic cable into UG network.
Β· Test rodding and roping of existing UG network.
Β· Adherence to the expected quality standards
Β· Proper and safe site setup including chapter 8 setup in-line with NRSWA.
Β· Understanding of UG network diagrams and straight-line diagrams
Β· Follow work schedule to meet deadlines.
Β· Adhere to health and safety standards.
Skills and experience required:
Β· Experience in FTTH cabling
Β· A proven track record of working within the Telecoms Industry.
Β· PIA trained and towing licence is a requirement.
Β· NOPS, NRSWA card BT Accreditations Required SA002,K008,S007,Confined Space
The team must have the ability to produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs and data recordings.

Pay up to Β£180 - Β£200 per person per day on a self employed basis
