Job Description

Driver Hire Teesside are currently seeking Class 2 / HGV2 drivers for a variety of our clients in the Teesside area.

  • Some of the roles available are, deliveries and/or collections, which can involve Multidrop or site-to-site. Can include deliveries to commercial and/or residential properties.

  • Positions are for ADHOC and holiday cover

  • Opportunities for immediate starts following successful registration and interview.

  • Rate of pay is £12.22 for day shift.


We work with a variety of clients, including but not limited to:

  • Plumbing distributors

  • Timber merchants

  • Builders merchants

  • Tippers

  • Cash and Carries

  • Pallet networks

The ideal candidate:

  • A valid CPC & Digi Card

  • We ask that applicants have no more than 6 points on your licence (DD, DR, or IN endorsements are not accepted due to insurance stipulations).

  • Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous.

  • Manual handling of items at delivery points can be involved, so we ask that candidates are comfortable with some lifting.
