Post: Care Assistant
Location: Bath and North East Somerset
We at CARE NAVIGATION LTD are looking for Care Assistant to join our friendly team based in the Bath and North East Somerset. We aim to provide support to people whose lives are affected by old age and associated health problems to enable them to safely live a quality life in their homes.
As a care assistant you can be the highlight of somebody’s day or you can be there for them in their darkest hour. Below are some examples of what our clients may need your support with as a care assistant:
- Light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, personal care,
- Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
- Supporting and helping with health care needs and managing medication.
- Help to get dressed, washing and bathing, medical appointments
- Providing help in life skills, such as shopping, using public transport, managing letters, and paying for bills
- Help them run their homes
- Assist clients in end of life Care and Night support, to provide a shoulder to lean on.
Care Assistant Requirements:
- Commitment to helping others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic with good listening skills.
- Ability to encourage carrying their domestic duties.
- Willingness to assist with basic healthcare appointments and compliance.
- Patient and emotionally resilient.
