We currently have vacancies for experienced Band 2 HCA o undertake temporary assignments with one of our NHS trust clients based in Durham and Cleveland Areas.
As a healthcare assistant you will have a vital role in delivering hands-on care to patients including:
- Understanding and recording a patient’s temperature, breathing, pulse and weight
- Supporting patients to eat and serving their meals
- Helping patients wash and dress
- Taking patients to the toilet
- Spending time talking to patients, answering their questions as far as possible and making sure they are comfortable
- Helping patients to get out of bed and move around
- Supporting patients to change position in bed
What is required:
- Right to work in the UK
- 6 months minimun experience NHS hospital setting
- Full immunisation history (Fit to work)
- New DBS (will be provided by the company for FREE)
- Practical and Theory Mandatory Training
- 2 x Clinical References • Updated CV
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £10.50-£14.50 per hour
