We are looking for a Automation Cleaning Operative to join our team in Derby.
The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out machine and manual cleaning of conveyor systems and other automation within a warehouse.
Working Hours: Mon - Fri 07:00 - 15:30
Pay: £12.50PH
All job offers are subject to DBS and 5 year work history check
Key responsibilities
- Working with various conveyor systems / moving parts
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
- Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
- Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products
- Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
- Report anything in need of repair or replacement
- Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
- Record all cleaning tasks as directed
- Working alongside a dedicated engineering team
- The use of backpack vacuums
- Working from height
- Occasional use of MEWPs
Job Requirements
- Basic machine maintenance skills, practical skills are desirable
- Good understanding of English, both written and verbal
- A strong understand and appreciation for health and safety in everything you do
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- DBS check is required and will be provided
- 5 year work history check
