Hygiene Operative

Based from our production facility in Bolton, Fazila Foods proudly supply to over 600 SPAR stores across the north of England as a proud member of the James Hall & Co. family of companies.

About the Role
We are looking for someone to join our team as hygiene operative to take responsibility of the various cleaning and safety processes we have. Below are some of the things you will be doing
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
- Ensuring that food safety and hygiene is kept to the required industry standards
- Tray washing on Tray washer, Manual Tray washing in wash sinks
- Cleaning the offices, canteen, and locker rooms, Refill PPE and chemical dispensers
- Maintaining flow of laundry coats all sizes ensuring all clean coats are filled and available.
- Cleaning the toilets and other staff facilities
- Daily cleaning of floors, walls, and various factory equipment
- Complying to company’s hygiene rules and PPEs standards
- Following and signing off weekly and daily hygiene schedules
- Carrying out prestart checks and ensuring compliance to health and safety standards

- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to work as a team and demonstrate good team spirit
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours to meet changing demands of the business
- Willingness to support all areas of the business as required
